As Halal is crucial for Muslim consumers, Greenhill Farm meat products are regularly audited and tested by authorizes Islamic Halal organisations. They assess whether our meat products have been produced in accordance with the relevant halal guidelines. Ever since Greenhill Farm is available for our Muslim consumers in the Middle East region, we are confident to say: “we are 100% Halal!”
The relevant testing reports and Halal Certificates are available upon request, including from the Islamic Authority (Jakim standard) in Malaysia.

Greenhill Farm uses only premium ingredients and raw materials from halal certified suppliers and breeding farms to ensure the products are 100% halal.

Our Greenhill Farm products are made with the highest dedication to quality, food safety and halal standards and requirements. The halal products we produce are undergoing daily checks on taste, texture, smell etc. In addition, we are always checking our production processes in line with Halal rules. In order to safeguard and guarantee the quality of our halal meats, we maintain strict hygiene rules and ensure the food safety of our halal meat products is our first priority. This is important for the production but also during transportation of our products. For example, all transports tot the Middle East are subject to Veterinary inspections by the Dutch Food & Health Authorities.

We do not recommend freezing any of our premium deli meats and sausages. In case necessary, the products can be stay frozen for 1 year in a closed packing.

After opening the meat products should be consumed within two to three days for optimal freshness and taste. In closed packs the products should be stored in your refrigerator between 2 – 7 °Celsius.

Yes, all products are fully cooked and you can eat them when you come home from the supermarket. We recommend to heat the sausages in their own closed packs by putting them in hot, not boiling, water. Please wait a couple of minutes before consuming. Heating in a microwave is also possible by piercing some holes in the packs and heat for a maximum of 2 minutes at 600 Watts. Adjust the time depending on the size of the sausage.
